runtime environment

i want to know if it is possible to change a servers runtime from 32 bits to 64 bits, without reloading the server ?
the server is running HP-UX 11.00 (32 bit).

Yes, you can do an upgrade from 11/32bit to 11/64bit (no reload). There is a detailed document on how to do it at www.docs.hp.com

A fresh install is always preferred compared to upgrading.
