Sam prbolem occasionally when using auditing

Sam problem occasionally when accessing the auditing portion. receive the
following:
Auditing turned:..

Could not determine any information about the auditing system. This area of
Sam cannot be used unless Sam can gather information about the auditing
system.

The attemp to get auditing information using audsys (1m) failed. The
command return value was "_1" and the standrad error output was:

the sam log should be able to give more info, take a look at /var/sam/log/samlog

Make sure you have the latest SAM patch. THis may be an older version but check out the newer one:

Hey,

It seems like u need patch update (Cumulative SAM/ObAM patch.

If u have HP-UX 11.0, then check for this patch- PHCO_23876
