SAM problem with dds4 autoloader
Hello,
a customer of mine has a hp9000 D390 and he just got a NEW DDS4 Autoloader and attacched it to the system.
The system (with ioscan) have seen the new drive but, when he run SAM,
the Backup and Recovery area of SAM may produce an error of the form:
SAM internal error: The error handler has gotten the error code 1
of type NOTE with the associated strings: XX/Y.Z.0 HP C5683A
tar and other backup utilities don't work.
On the system runs HPUX 10.20 with December 2000 patch bundle installed.
In ITResourceCenter.com I found a patch (PHCO_22269) that resolves this problem but this patch
is for HPUX 11.x. and I dind't find a corrispondent patch for 10.20.
Can anybody help me?
Thanx in advance
Stefano

Re: SAM problem with dds4 autoloader
I'd check the patch readme file for PHCO_21186 ?
It appears to be the 10.20 equivalent ?
