SAM - Users

Help me! I am using 10.20 9000/877.

I ran SAM -> Users and Groups -> Users but got error, here is:

UNEXPECTED EXIT: process /usr/sam/lbin/samx -C -p 8217 -s users /usr/sam/lib//ug.ui exited with a non-zero exit status.

sh: 8366 Bus error (coredump)

Install or reinstall the latest sam patch


Patch Name: PHCO_22268

Patch Description: s700_800 10.20 Cumulative SAM/ObAM Patch

You need a sam patch.

For 10.20

There are at least a dozen possible candidates.

itrc.hp.com

patches
hpux
choose 10.20
search for sam

select the sam patches
install them.

Also analyze the core dump with attached instructions. It might narrow it down.

Hi Tom,

a possibility before patching new:
Check if all patches are configured:

'swlist -a state -l fileset | grep installed'

If there returns a message, configure new:

'swconfig \*'
