SAM
Hi
When i try to access NIS Icon from sam i receive the following message:
THIS MESSAGE OF SAM DOES NOT SUPPORT IPV6 NIS CONFIGURATION
i installed the latest patches, but the problem is not resolved.
Any help?

Hi,
if you ignore the message , you should still be able to proceed.
Please note:
"NIS+, NIS, and NFS are currently not supported over IPv6."

If not,
Modify
/etc/rc.config.d/namesvrs:
NIS_CLIENT="1"
NIS_DOMAIN="NIS_domain"
Then restart the nis.client via
# /sbin/init.d/nis.client start
also have alook at:
/etc/rc.config.d/netconf-ipv6
and the ifconfig command
