Samba 2.2.3a errors
I installed Samba 2.2.3a and have it up an running. I am having alot of problems though accessing files. I can copy and paste files onto and from the drive mapped on my 2000 machine fine, but If I try and open a file right from the share by double clicking it on my 2000 machine I get file access error. Plus when I copy larger files onto the samba share from my 2000 machine, I will ussually get some kind of file not being available after it transfers almost all of the file.
Any ideas?

Re: Samba 2.2.3a errors
Hi,
*** Plus when I copy larger files onto the samba share ***
Are we talking >2Gb files here ? Remember that the largefiles option needs to be activated if you want >2Gb on a Unix filesystem.
Hope this helps,
Tom

Re: Samba 2.2.3a errors
Hi again :-),
As to your other problem, there seems to be a service pack for Win2K that concerns Samba. Take a look at the following thread : http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,,0x6f9a663ce855d511abcd0090277a778c,00.html
Hope this helps,
Tom
