Samba configuration
Hi all,
I have configured samba on one of my HP server.I want to give read access (one directory)to all users.(it should not ask for the passwd).
Please find the smb.conf file below...
.
.
.
domain master = Yes
writeable = Yes
short preserve case = No
security = share
[sales]
comment = sales
path = /tmp/vas.
# writeable = no
guest ok = yes
public = yes
Please help me.

What is happening when you try and access that share?
Also, why the period "." in your path?
