Samba question
But when I try to create new folder at samba server (HP-UX 11.11). It doesn't appear in folder list at my Windows XP file browser until I refresh it. Besides it happens if i copy files, they don't appear in list until refreshing. Sometimes it don't happen. What can I do to correct the problem?

Re: Samba question
if your Windows Folder is already open, i think it's normal behaviour that you have to refresh (F5) for displaying new files / folders.
Otherwise if you'r e just opening them they should be displayed.

Re: Samba question
If you create folder and files directly on Unix server, i think it's normal you must refresh XP browser. After refreshing all files and folders must appear except if Unix rights on these folders or files aren't good for XP users. Verify if read rights is OK on files and on parent folders.
If rights are OK, can you give more info on your Samba config?
