Re: samba server

this will be easy as long as You use the hp-supplied samba build - it comes with a script that automatically joins the domain - after that everything should be okay.

I don't run samba on hp-ux here, but You after installation You should find it in either /etc/opt/samba or /opt/samba (or something along the lines).

There are manuals for samba at http://docs.hp.com (look for CIFS/9000)

Hi Hari,

Good day to you !
You can get the information from HP docs at this url below :

http://www.docs.hp.com/en/netcom.html#HP%20CIFS

Or you can use the document below as references when you configure CIFS :

http://www2.itrc.hp.com/service/cki/docDisplay.do?docLocale=en_US&docId=200000062921708
