SAMBA
I am trying to resolve some problems with our SAMBA.
I am seeing a lot of errors on my users when the log on from there windows to a UNIX server that is running SAMBA. Below is a repeated error on all the pc logs
trust_password_lock: cannot open file /var/opt/samba/private/DOMAIN_NAME.HPL3.mac - Error was No such file or directory
We are running version 2.7 on a UNIX server which the OS is HP-UX hpl3 B.11.00 U 9000/800 197921527 unlimited-user license
Another problem we see form the network side
SMB Close Response,FID :0x1378 Error Access Denied
I do not see a .mac file in the above location and I am not sure if this could be causlng the problem.
Users logon to there PC then run the programs that are pointed to the SAMBA mountes what we have seen is the first time they logon it fails then they can logon and are able to process data. They maybe able to process files for 12 or 13 times or even more then they fail out passing null files/data
My smb.conf looks like this
Any help you can help is greatly appreciated
