samlog_viewer
I was trying to us samlog_viewer to find out a command in sam, by using the following command.
For the year field it requires two digits
So I used 03
This gave me year 1903
See attachment
So I tried 2003 just in case
This gave me year 1920
I can change it in the sam menu field no problem.
errrrrrrrrrrrrrmmm! Is there somthing adrift here?
samlog_viewer -s 0731080003 -e 0731210003 -lC -u root

Re: samlog_viewer
As far as I'm aware this issue has been fixed in 11i, but not fixed yet in 11.00. The workaround would be to start up the samlog_viewer without the -s and -e options, then set them inside the GUI, which is able to accept 4 digit years.
There is an SR raised for this issue; the number is 8606296648.
regards,
Darren.
