sanmgr and java hugging the CPU

Hi,

We have a VA7100 connected to an rp7410 running HPUX 11.11

we just noticed that sanmgr is hanging the system and hugging the CPU upto 100%


1.09.0 hp StorageWorks Command View SDM is currently in use.

Shalom,

That gnome depot is pretty old. After indicating they were going gnome 7 years ago HP reversed itself.

I would go to http://www.hp.com/go/java

I would make sure I have required OS patches and newer versions of all current Java products.

Performance problems with java itself are normally corrected by installing a new version.

The June 2009 Gold Patch set would be a good idea. It includes required Java patches.

I agree with SEP. Java patches will most likely solve your problem.
