sautil
I have a rp4440 with a smart array 6402 controller. It reports 1 disk as failed. After replacing the drive how do I change it's status to ready? Thanks.

Re: sautil
This info should help.I found the document via a search, but the link is crazy. Search for doc ID: emr_na-c00858118-1. The title is Smart Array SA6400 - Integrity Server internal disk no automatic recovery".
Here is the info in summary:
Since the controller failed to detect the new disk, you may have to reset the controller:
# sautil /dev/cissX reset_ctlr (substitue X as required)
Start the recovery process if needed:
# sautil /dev/cissX start_recovery
