SCSI Timeout

Is it possible configure the SCSI timeout if I put off the disk then the os would detect disk be removed,and generate such as,

SCSI Timeout or
SCSI power faild or
SCSI reset

The closest thing I can think of, which I don't think provides all that you are asking for, though might be enough, is to use "pvchange -t" to change the i/o timeout value.
Never preceed any demonstration with anything more predictive than "watch this"

Hi,

pvchange -t

default is 120 seconds, you could change it to 180.
Anyway most of the times messages about SCSI resets,timeouts or power failed indicate hw problems.
