Hello all,
We run this process every month and keep getting the following recomendation:
"31 Xserver 2191r1 1st man ? ? Run "/sbin/init.d/slsd stop", then set "SLSD_DAEMON=0" in /etc/rc.config.d/slsd."
eventhough we are not running slsd and the config file is as specified in the recomendation.
What can I do to prevent these useless recommendations from appearing?

man security_patch_check
look at the -i option for an ignore file. Or just use the default ignore file $HOME/.spc_ignore
add the bulletin number to the file and you won't see it again,
You should also consider upgrading to Software Assistant as security_patch_check is being deprecated:
