Send Encrypted Mail
I have a script that runs hourly and checks the syslog for "Authentication Failed" messages. If any are found, I send an email to all the people in our help desk to notify them that there is a problem with some user accounts. The extracted user info is send in the body of the email. These emails are from a HP 11.23 Unix Server thru our Microsoft Exchange Server. Unfortunately, I need to send this email encrypted because of Internal Security Controls (DOD). Normally with Exchange, you can click on the "Encrypt Message contents and Attachments". How can I do this with Mailx? Can I use uuencode on the Unix side? How would the Windows user decode it?

Re: Send Encrypted Mail
Shalom,
You can encrypt mail attachments with the crypt system call.
Or:
http://software.hp.com
Internet Express (search for it)
Pick the one for your OS.
Then choose the PGP software, install it and you have a full encryption system.
Whoever reads the mail will need PGP configured to work with their mail reader.
