Hello All,
This error just started popping up on one of my boxes:
hp-docs /usr/local/bin =>Jan 16 12:21:31 hp-docs sendmail[27570]: LAA07084: Losing qfLAA07084: savemail panic
Jan 16 12:21:31 hp-docs sendmail[27570]: LAA07084: SYSERR(root): savemail: cannot save rejected email anywhere
Can somebody give me a clue as to what this means?
TIA
Robert

Solution
Could be a couple reasons...
First your sendmail.cf could be corrupt. To fix this:
1. mv /etc/mail/sendmail.cf /etc/mail/sendmail.cf.old
2. cp /usr/newconfig/etc/mail/sendmail.cf /etc/mail
3. /sbin/init.d/sendmail stop
4. /sbin/init.d/sendmail start
--OR--
It could simply be a permissions problem. Check out this thread:

Re: Sendmail Error
I'm dealing with that error right now as well. For some reason, the group is set incorrectly on /usr/bin/mail and /usr/sbin/sendmail. Both should be setuid root and setgid mail. Sendmail also has o+t permissions. Check the permissions on /var/mail and the user spool files as well.
