Sendmail error

Hi:

Some times ago I get a messages returned to my users as following

Undeliverable:Returned mail: Insufficient permission: Error 0

Somebody see this error before

Are you just running sendmail or d you run some sort of anti spam filtering / mailing list software?

Usually, it means that whatever is being called can't write to a folder...

Check the permissions of the recipent's mailfile. The permissions on the recipient's mail file should be 660. If you have access to the server where the mail is being delivered then check it yourself or ask its administrator.

In a nutshell the recipient's mailfile should have the octal permission 660.

Assuming that "mailx" is being used, check the permissions on /usr/bin/mailx, they should be read and execute for user, group, and other.

You can also run, as root, mailq -v -d and see what other permissions or ownership problems there may be.
