Serviceguard
I want to add disk in existing VG02 under cluster 11.19 and extending the one filesystem also with existing VG03 (lvol05 ).
Do i need to stop cluster or can i do online without distrubing the end user.

Re: Serviceguard
I suppose you only need a confirmation...not the procedure :)
YES u can do both the activities online.
BTW, for procedure just check some old threads there you would find a complete procedure, in case you don have.

Re: Serviceguard
If the VG is available or available, exclusive (vgdisplay | grep Status), you can add the disk to the VG while it is activated.
You can also extend a file system in such a VG as you would any vxfs file system.
Note that adding a disk on one node requires that you export and reimport the VG on the other adoptive nodes. The method to do so is itemized in other threads.
If the VG is activated in shared mode, special, the VG cannot be modified unless you use SLVM Online Volume Re-configuration(SNOR). http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c01918716/c01918716.pdf

Re: Serviceguard
pls dont forget to take mapfile for that VG inwhich you are adding new disk and copy the same map file in the adoptive node in the cluster.
