Session Resets function keys/arrow keys
We are using Teklogix RF terminals and switching between two ASCII applications (one in Ingres, one in Oracle) Frequently when the users swtich, their session gets function keys and arrow keys some graphical characters reset to random graphic characters. Once the users log off and log on again, everything is fine.
Is there something on the UNIX side that I can use to prevent the session from having these things reset? stty? Any ideas are greating appreciated.

Re: Session Resets function keys/arrow keys
Tracy, Even though I've not got a solution its interesting to see somebody else has seen this feature?.
It does not just happen on your RF terminals but on most types of equipment. I've had cases where I have been working on the System Console, and after using vi, the up and down arrow keys which before vi Would repete the previous commands stopped working until I logged out and back in again. I have compared the stty settings before and after (stty -a), but cannot see any differeces, but vi seems to change some charachteristi

Thanks for letting me know I am not alone! Hopefully someone will be able to guide us in the right direction.
