setting up DTE address

Just want to find out how to setup the DTE address on x.25 and is there any reference on how to setup the DTE address.

simple answer: Use sam -> Networking and Communications -> X.25

connect the X.25 cable before configuring anything!
sam will not activate the interface card if no connection is available

First you need to get additional information from your X.25 provider:
- Network Carrier Type (DTE_80, DTE_84 or DTE_88)
- Number of SVC's and/or PVC's.
- X.25 address (sometimes called NUA, the X.25 "phone number")

Choose any programmatic access name (not used if
you don't configure IP over X.25)

Finally, there is a command x25stat to verify connection status.
