setting up sendmail
I am new to HP-UX, Could you all please help me in setting up sendmail in hp-ux boxes such that i would receive all alartes(mails) whenever some file system is full or things alike.

If you want it to go to you then:
In /etc/mail/aliases
# Local aliases
root : you@yourdomain.com
The execute:
newaliases
In /etc/mail/sendmail.cf you may need to add the following:
# who I masquerade as (null for no masquerading) (see also $=M)
DMyourdomain.com
# "Smart" relay host (may be null)
DSyouremailserver
Then restart sendmail:
/sbin/init.d/sendmail stop
/sbin/init.d/sendmail start
