SMS Alerts
Hi,
I have about 50 HP9000 Mid-range servers of almost all flavours.
I have configured alert emails for various system events.
Everything is working fine.
I would like to know how can I configure to get Alert SMS on my handphone for my critical servers.
Thanks,
Raje.

Re: SMS Alerts
Set up a mail filter to forward the ones that you want to your phone.

Re: SMS Alerts
hi raje,
Its possible if your mobile service provider supports messages to be send as an email message. eg: mobilenumber@serviceprovider.com.
now you can setup alerts for the unix server so as to send messages to this mobile.
Many service providers in India offers this.
But have to check the response time. Most of the time have seen the messages come too late.
with best wishes
