Hi folks
I noticied that snmpd was not running on one of my servers (L3000). I started snmpd on command line and seems to be running.
From looking on a another server in the same cluster I see that cnsnmpd is running. However the cnsnmpd binary does not even exist on my server where snmp was not running.
What is the purpose of cmsnmpd and why would it be running on one server in a cluster and not on any of the others ?
Thanks a mil

Re: SNMP Question
Hi Kent
Thanks for your response. Thats exactly it - SG is only running on two of the nodes in a 5-node cluster.
On the two SG nodes cmsnmpd is running.
Thanks alot
