snmp trap

Hi
I am using snmp agent and snmp manager (snmp collect ) on two systems , i want to know how to generate trap and how to collect the trap on snmp manager station.

Hi Rajshri ,

Not sure which snmp agent and manager you are using but if you are using OpenView agent and NNM manager , there are 2 utilities :
snmptrap - SNMP V1
snmpnotify - SNMP V2
for sending traps and once you configure the Event Configurator in NNM , you should be able to see the traps.
