Has anyone ever seen this exit code when using Veritas Netbackup. It doesn't happen all the time. Everthing is fine now, but I'm just trying to figure out what would cause this socket to get locked up. EXIT STATUS 25: cannot connect on socket

Solution
I didn't see your error? Is it still happening ? Usually a socket error occurs with some kind of network error or network glitch. You can also check the netbackup logs file on the client (bpcd) or server (bprd) directories. If your using the SQLbacktrack etc. There are some other log files you can check.

Re: socket error on Netbackup
I haven't seen the problem since. It's very strange. Things are back to normal, but I'm sure it will happen again. I was just trying to see if anyone had seen an exit 25 before. open socket error. Thanks for your reply.
