Re: Socks address

I used to be able to listen to the redio from the address:

Now I can't.

Re: Socks address

I've just tried with broadband settings and media player. It downloaded a plugin, but fails to connect.

It may not be you. Can you surf the web? If so I think your connection is ok.

I can listen to www.musicradio.com
I'm connected via an http proxy.

Regards,

Dave.

Re: Socks address

I don't have any problems surfing the web.
I can listen to the station you posted.
Did you try with the one I posted using a socks?
Can you just give me an address? sometimes it's needed for other streams.
BTW Do you know any other good radio stations?

Thanks,
Felipe

Re: Socks address

I'm afraid I don't have a socks proxy configured. What browser are you using?

For an address I guess it depends on what port your socks proxy is listening.

Other radio stations - I listen to heart

I'm using Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633CO provided by HP.

Re: Socks address

I'm not convinced you need a socks proxy, but if you do it should be defined in tools, internet options, connections, LAN settings, Advanced.

If you have a socks server your best option is to ask the person who administers it for the port number.

Another option is to check the settings on another system that has it working.

Dave.
