Softbench UIM/X Integration Problem

We've recently upgraded to UIM/X 3.0. Now the Softbench text editor window will not launch from UIM/X in the CDE environment. However, the "Softbench - Program Editor" window (links to the source files) appears but does not display any files. Upon closing the "Softbench - Program Editor", the following message is displayed in the UIM/X message window: "281 Softbench tool (EDIT) - error occurred while executing WINDOW:". I've installed the following cumulative patchs but the results are the same:
1) PHSS_26583 (Xserver)
2) PHSS_17561 (Softbench)
3) PHSS_27426 (CDE)

Note: This problem does not occur in SafeMode!
