SoftCM user login

I am running a SoftCM server on my HP9000/HPUX10.20.
I have defined some trusted hosts in my /etc/opt/softbench/config/cm.option file.

If any user tries any operation (fls, fco etc.) from any other host (other than the trusted ones), he/she is prompted for a password. Even the cm.option file has some comments regarding user accounts and passwords.

I did not find any documentation about these user accounts/passwords. Can someone please tell me where is this account info stored and how. Does it use the OS account to authenticate?
