ssh 3.8 version?

Does anybody know if HP has ssh3.8 version depot? If not where I can download the source code. I can't find it on openssh.com, although there is anouncement bout the new release.

HP has not unless it happened in the last 4 hours released a port for ssh 3.8

HP 'ports' ssh into a bundle they label T1471AA HPUX Secure Shell in the Applications CD's. They "tinker" with the ssh version to get it to a point they like and can support. You can find the latest at http://software.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=T1471AA , which happens to be version OpenSSH 3.71p2. If you want the latest and greatest, you need to go to http://www.openssh.org , like SEP suggested and get the source for 3.8, compile it on your machine, and go. If you go that route, you have to have Zlib and OpenSSL ready to go. I prefer to stick with a version of the HPUX Secure Shell, because they have done the compiling for me, it's fast and easy, and they support it, if I ever need it, but we have too many machines and not enough free time here.
