Hello,
We have HP9000/L3000 11.00 64-bit with oracle databases and we use web browsers. We have also many HP LaserJet network printers.
Problem is, that when users want to print some report or invoice or what ever they do, it takes about 5 minutes before anything comes out, normally that delay is just 1-2 seconds.
I made a test and used HP Jetadmin software to print a test page and it came out immediately, no delay.
Second test was #lp -dprinter testfile and it takes about 1-2 minutes to come out.
What is different in my first and second tests?
What might be the problem and what can i do, i am a bit lost. Could it be network problem?
Tero

Hi
Sounds like the true end of job and idle timeout again.
Use hppi
option 1
option 3
choose printer
extra options
Increase idletimeout and put TEOJ true end of job off
Then try
You can also change the timeout by a telnet to the printer
