I'm trying to setup an ignite server...I've installed the lateset version and gone through the initial setup. When I try to add a client, I get the following error:
ERROR: No response from Ignite-UX Server: "server_name"
Any suggestions?
tia

Re: Suggestions regarding Ignite error...
can you give further informations like error messages, logfiles etc.
There could be various reasons like dns problems, net problems or problems with the user rights and so on.
regards
Dirk

Re: Suggestions regarding Ignite error...
Log file just contains the same error message.
Client is at a remote site from ignite server--all internal network though.

SolutionIgnite requires NFS and tftp to be configured.
Use this guide as a checklist to verify these are set up correctly.
In addition, make sure there is not a problem with the server hostname:
# nslookup server_hostname (replace this with your hostname; it will return the ip address)
# nslookup ip_address (replace this with the ip address and the hostname should be returned)
