Are kernal and tcpip tuning different on superdome and ordinary hpux servers ?

Kernel tuning and tcpip tuning are part of OS rather then hardware so there will not be any differences in setting these parameters on domes and other HPUx servers. However all the considerations which needs to be followed based upon the config of the system while setting these parameters should be followed even while setting parameters on these like all other systems.

Kernel and tcpip tuning procedure is same on superdome computers as well since these are operating system parameters and independant of hardware

If you need very high lan performance. Also consider buying the nick teaming software. It will allow you to tie multiple gig ether cards together as one and failover between each other for redundancy.
