I want to update Online Diagnostics from March 2002, B.11.00.20.09, to June 2002, B.11.00.21.10. Does anyone know of any problems with the June version of Online Diagnostics, especially with STM?

Solution
Bill - A couple of items to be aware of.
1) PA RISC 1.1 systems on SupportPlus Release June 2002 for HP-UX 11.0 that uses modem transfer will *NOT* be able to connect to HP......A patch will be created as soon as possible, in the meantime a PA-RISC 1.1 version of PSKERMP is available for ftp.
2) HP has recently discovered problem that seriously affects the working of several EMS Hardware Monitors in the March and June releases of OnlineDiag for HPUX 11.00 and 11.11.
We are advising that until a patch is available, if EMS Hardware Monitors are needed to be running correctly, these versions of OnlineDiag should not be installed. A patch is under development.
If you need to remove A.30.00 or A.31.00 to revert to A.29.00, please raise a call with the HPUX Online Diagnostics team.
Symptoms
The following monitors will not log any asynchronous events (an asynchronous event is one sent from diaglogd, rather than one generated by the hardware monitor detecting a problem by polling the hardware itself):
disk_em
fw_disk_array
dm_FCMS_adapter
dm_TL_adapter
ha_disk_array
dm_ses_enclosure
dm_fc_scsi_mux
scsi123_em
dm_stape
Other monitors are not affected.
Please watch for these patches that are under development :
PATCHNAME: PHSS_27523 HWE0203 11.00
PATCHNAME: PHSS_27524 HWE0203 11.11
PATCHNAME: PHSS_27525 HWE0206 11.00
