swapon problem
hey ,
I have fired swapon command & it giving me following error.
#lvcreate -L 2M -n testme /dev/vg00
#swapon /dev/vg00/testme;echo $?
Swapon:The kernel tunable parameter
"maxswapchunks" needs to be increased to add.
Paging on device /dev/vgoo/testme.

but the following command is working,
# swapon -p 4 -l 1M /home Why?
pls help me......

Try Recreating the lvol firts, then increase the maxswapchumks to max 16 Gb .. this shouwld work hope fully

For someone that seems new, forgive me if I'm wrong, try sam kernel configurable parameters to change the swapchunks as recommened in the prior posts.
