swinstall - cannot access remote file

swinstall - cannot access remote file

When I run swinstall it errors out with 'cannot access remote file'. I am running this on a workstation when I get the error. The workstation and server are 11i and are not running NIS+.

When I check my nsswitch.conf it lists all 'files'. Could that be the problem?

Do i need to change this or maybe the resolve.conf?
