swinstall error ??
trying swinstall on a new server and receive following error:
"vspweb2:/sources/samba/samba_2.2.8a_HPUX_withoutwinbind.depot.gz":You do not have the required permissions to perform this operation.Check permissions using the "swacl" command or see your system administrator for assistance. Or, to manage applications designed and packaged for nonprivileged mode, see the "run_as_superuser" option in the "sd" man page.
I am running as root, and swacl returns:
root@vspweb2:[/]:=>swaclERROR: A valid edit level is needed for the successful execution of "swacl"(). The valid levels are:"host", "depot", "root", "product", "product_template", "global_product_template" or "global_soc_template".

Re: swinstall error ??
That wasn't it, the file was named that but wasn't actually compressed.
I unmounted the file system with the source code and re-mounted it and the install ran fine.
Thanks
