swinstall

1. Login as root.

2. cd /var/adm/sw/products

3. mv /var/adm/sw/products/INDEX /tmp/INDEX # why we are moving in to /tmp/index file

4. vi void.psf

5. Add the following lines to void.psf # what is void.psf while i am creating i am seeing
it is a new file ?

# why we are putting the following entries in void.psf?

product
tagvoid
fileset
tagvoid

6. swpackage -s ./void.psf # what is the meaning of it

7. swinstall void # for what reason we are installing void and then remove

8. swremove void; rm void.psf; swremove -d void

You should work in some other directory.
