swremove Apache.

Anyone know if it is possible to do a swremove on Apache?

If you do an> swlist -l fileset | grep -i apache

and it lists some apache filesets back, then yes, you can swremove them.
I think on HP its usuall called HPApache so you can simply swremove HPApache
Im from Palmerston North, New Zealand, but somehow ended up in London...

Hi,

If you have installed the apache with swinstall then you can swremove it after stopping apache service.

I have used swremove from SAM to remove it.

Well yeah, if it's showing up in your swlist then swremove it. If it is not, you can just # rm the file but be sure to get all the files as it may not be in only one volume.

For easy, try swremove -i and you can highlight and uninstall.
