syslog error messages

I am seeing the following message in syslog

Aug 21 00:00:00 lvh21 vmunix: Detected Low Priority Machine Check.
Aug 21 00:00:00 lvh21 vmunix: LPMC type : SEDC (ECC-corrected single-bit error)
Aug 21 00:00:00 lvh21 vmunix: Error Address : 0x616dc90

Can anyone tell me what this means?

Re: syslog error messages

Hello,

This says about a hardware error while reading the memory. Check the memory modules with STM tools or get it checked with the hardware support.

Re: syslog error messages

You are experiencing correctable memory errors. If they continue, you should have the memory module replaced before you get an uncorrectable error which will cause a system panic.

Re: syslog error messages

You have had a correctable memory error. This in itself is not normally a problem, but if they continue you may end up with problems.

If you see them again I would have the memory module replaced before it fails.
