SYSLOG ERROR

Hallo,
in syslog.log on our server with HP-UX 11.00 I found the following errors:
Nov 24 10:01:21 XXX vmunix: SRA[DPT,c0] (0/2/7/0) reset target 0 lun 0
Nov 24 10:01:26 XXX vmunix: SRA[DPT,c1] (0/2/7/0) READ CHANINFO from 18 timed ou
t, ret=238

I don't understand what does it mean. can somebody help me?

Well, I think it says some SCSI device has reset. Maybe, have a look at the following thread

Federico,

since the messages are logged by vmunix without beeing standard HP-UX kernel messages I assume that you have some 3rd party kernel driver installed, maybe some Jukebox thing or similar (indeed look like some SCSI thing)?

Timeouts/Resets in the SCSI context are often caused by Harwdare problems... 1st thing to do would be a check of cabling, termination, etc.
