Hi all,
Can anyone please explain me this message from syslog.
0/3/1/0/4/0: Fabric Name Server rejected GPN_FT query. Explanation: FC-4 Type not registered. Please check zone configuration on your switch. Reason code: unable to perform request; This may indicate that the HBA port is not part of a zone.
i checked with ioscan on the above address. everything is claimed.
Thanks in advance

Re: syslog message
Hi again Sunny,
See this doc. for better understanding of this event:
http://docs.hp.com/en/diag/ems/dm_ql_adapter.htm
The event is related with a fibre channel that is not configured properly. Do you have any fibre channels? Is this an EVA??
Best Regards,
Eric
