Hi,

How do I to setup system access by modem on hpux 11.0 running on hp9000 L2000 system. Do I need special software for that purpose? If yes, what software/utility is that?. Thanks

Hi there.
You should find some documents here :
http://europe-support2.external.hp.com/cki/bin/doc.pl/sid=a91d97ef11a751c831/screen=ckiDisplayDocument?docId=200000054497718
if you do not have a MULTITECH modem, search for modems in the hot docs. THere is plenty of documents.

Re: system access by modem

Hi...

What I'm trying to do right now is to be able to access the HPUX from outside of LAN. What I understand now,the documents is to setup modem for GSP. Or is it the same?. And if yes, what must I do after that?.Thanks.

Re: system access by modem

Dial up on your UX box ?? What I know is that you should have a MUX pad and have your modems on each port. Then you may dial up on each number and connect to it. You may use the one in windoes or soething like PROCOMM.
