System error

I have A SAN network with two N -Class servers running a oracle cluster application. I am suspect a disk failure with a couple of issues affecting the FTP service.

Re: System error

Did you execute the command as it is stated in the error?

/opt/resmon/bin/resdata -R 174850049 -r /StorageAreaNetwork/events/S
AN_Monitor/DiskArray -n 174850055 -a

You have CVSDM running. Run the array client and check your array for disk failures. Depending on what array you have the command is under /opt/sanmgr/commandview/client/sbin

Also, look at your array and see if there are any fault/service lights and disks that have fault lights on.

Re: System error

Which of the command should i try to query the array. What do also say concerning the FTP session close.

Re: System error

Alternatively you could check ioscan -fn o/p to see if there is any NO_HW entries??

Re: System error

Have a look at the following thread:

http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=219966

Also confirm that your macro is not connecting/disconnecting multiple times.

whats the ftp version on the server? Try installing a different version which is working fine on other servers if the above recommendations doesn't help.

Re: System error

Try the armdsp command. It depends on what array you have.

The FTP messages are normal. You may want to reduce the loging level for ftpd in /etc/inetd.conf
