Re: System Serial no

Hi,

Are you sure that this is not the same system with two different IP adresses?

Re: System Serial no

More than likely same machine with multiple IPs. Confirm with lanscan and netstat -in that such indeed is the case.

Re: System Serial no

Hi

I would agree, this looks like 2 screen shots from the same machine with different IP addresses as the Create Date and Time is also identical.

Re: System Serial no

Hi all,

Those two are different systems . They are not similar.

I am logging into those machines with same user name with different passwords.

I am sure both are different.

Hi,

It seems to be something wrong in the way..
can you tell the result of issuing the

Re: System Serial no

These could be partitions on the same physical hardware. They would list the same serial. Did you build these?

Re: System Serial no

The "two" systems are created at exactly the same hour, minute and second - very unlikely.

Please connect to the console and run the command again to ensure you run it on different systems.

The rp4440 is not partitioned.

You cannot change the SN (even it is unlikely the problem), only HP can.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: System Serial no

Run the program:

/usr/bin/getsn

Same result?

Re: System Serial no

I agree with Brian - these are partitions...they show the same serial number.

Re: System Serial no

Partitions on a rp4440?

vPars does not work here, HPVM does not work here.

Very unlikey.

I would connect to the MP, check the SN and compare to the label - just to be sure.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.
