Tarantella Issues

Greetings All,

These forums are great. Just wondering if anyone out there is running Tarantella 3 Version 3.2 on any 11.0 or 11i systems. We've installed it on an older K450 running 11.0 and a newer RP5410 running 11i.

Well, when accessing different applications via a PC client, we often have browser windows/applications just die. Occasionally, the Unix ports will close and the actual Unix procs die too! A `truss` of the XPE processes shows that we're getting segv's.

We tuned the necessary Java-related kernel params (possibly not enough, however), and we have more than enough physical memory, CPU power, etc. We are, however, using an old version of Java (1.18.05), and quite frankly, I'm not even sure if Tarantella is using it or the JRE 1.3... that it came with. I don't know how to tell.

I realize that Tarantella was developed on a Sun platform, along with Java, and I was just wondering if there were any fellow HP-UX people out there that have implemented Tarantella.
