TEC alert: ProcessKilledOrNotExisting on server

I got a tivoli alert for server HPUX 11.11.
Does this alert message is related to server / application?
Could you please provide more information on why this alert came and how to resolve the same?

Pls find the alert message below:

Re: TEC alert: ProcessKilledOrNotExisting on server

Jagadesh,
have a look at the results from:
http://www.ibm.com/search?v=14&en=utfтМй=en&cc=us&hpp=10&catx=CBzQ3zE5zt3zF3zl5&q=%2BProcessKilledOrNotExisting+%2Btivoli+%2Bbasename&cp=&lv=a&cat=E5&x=12&y=10

One problem seems to be more than 2000 processes running?!

Re: TEC alert: ProcessKilledOrNotExisting on server

Hi Peter,

Thanks for the link.
but the error message which i posted above shows some process matching the filter basename=init, etc has been killed or not existing.

I checked the log files /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log but i am not getting error messages related to this.

Please let me know why i am getting this alert and how to rectify the same?

Jagadesh,
have you recently applied fixpack4?
what version are you running?
