terminal not responding
We have a console attached to a hp9000 server for console login - there is no login prompt on the monitor.
We cannot character return either - is there any way to get the display to show information as required to login?
Thanks in advance.

Re: terminal not responding
Which type of terminal it is? Try to reset it Keep pressing "d" key and power ON terminal, release key after few seconds. It will go to default values or check cables. I assume systeme is up.
By providing solutions I am helping myself

Re: terminal not responding
Thanks for that - after several attempts we unplugged the monitor plugged in a different term then re attached the original - turned on pressing "b" key and this worked!
