Trace command

I was wondering if HP-UX has a command like the "truss" command in solaris. Where you could trace a PID and re-direct all activity to a specified output file. Pretty handy.
I think in solaris is was like..
truss -a -p "PID" -o /tmp/output.file
something like that. Hopefully hp has something. Tks in adv..Cheers

Look at the threads below for more info. There is no utility on hp-ux but there is a shareware. The info is there in the thread.

hi,
The tusc command is the HP-UX 11.0 equivalent for Sun's truss
command.

Hi,

The program you are after is called 'tusc'.
You can get an already compiled version from
the porting centre.

http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Sysadmin/tusc-7.0/

The program installs as a depot so all you
have to do is install it through 'swinstall'
There is also a full man page that comes
with it.
