ultrium 230 on A500 / 11.0

I'm unable to find the documents listed for optimum configuration of this drive, like blocksperrecord, records, checkpointfreq. I have had problems frecovering a tape. What are the best values for configuration, or where may I find them?

Would suggest the following parameters:

blocksperrecord 128
checkpointfreq 128
readerprocesses 4
filesperfsm 300 to 500

Also, make sure you have all the patches required for the Ultrium installed:

PHCO_23854, PHCO_22269, PHKL_22287
